Dr. Jack Wiley

Jack W. Wiley, PhD, is recognized internationally for pioneering research linking employee work attitudes to measures of organizational success. He is the author The Employee-Centric Manager (2021) published by Employee Centricity and two books published by Jossey-Bass, Strategic Employee Surveys: Evidence-Based Guidelines for Driving Organizational Success (2011) and RESPECT: Delivering Results by Giving Employees What They Really Want (2012).

Most recently, Dr. Wiley was professor of psychology for Manchester University where he founded the undergraduate program in industrial-organizational psychology. Prior to that, Dr. Wiley worked in business and industry for 35 years. After working for large corporations as an internal practitioner, he founded and served as CEO of Gantz Wiley Research, a consulting firm specializing in driving organizational success through the use of employee and customer surveys. Upon selling his practice to Kenexa, he founded and served as president of the Kenexa High Performance Institute. Dr. Wiley retired from IBM after its acquisition of Kenexa, but continues consulting with leadership teams around the world and serving as a keynote speaker at leadership events.

Dr. Wiley attended the University of Tennessee, earning a PhD in organizational psychology. He was elected Fellow of the American Psychological Association, the Association for Psychological Science, and the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology (SIOP). Dr. Wiley received SIOP’s lifetime achievement award for his distinguished contributions to professional practice. He is also a licensed consulting psychologist and accredited as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) and as a SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP).

Dr. Wiley currently serves as the Chief Scientific Officer at Engage2Excel and as the president and CEO of both Jack Wiley Consulting, LLC and Employee Centricity LLC.


Dena Jacquay

Chief Administrative Officer, Parkview Health


Dena Jacquay is Parkview Health’s Chief Administrative Officer. Since joining the organization in 2000, she has served in several roles, supporting and driving the health system’s culture, both within Parkview and within the communities Parkview serves.


Dena oversees Parkview’s administrative and support services, including business development/strategic planning, public safety, marketing/ communications, human resources, construction/real estate, supply chain, nutritional services and environmental services. Dena also leads Parkview’s

community health and outreach efforts, equity and inclusion, and our patient experience, which includes chaplaincy, volunteers, patient advocates and advanced care planning.


Dena has a bachelor's degree in Organizational Leadership and Supervision from Indiana University-Purdue University Fort Wayne, and a master's degree in business administration from Western Governor's University.


Dena serves on several non-profit community boards, including Ascend Indiana, Blessings in a Backpack, Early Childhood Alliance, Easterseals Arc of Northeast Indiana, Indiana Tech, and TROY School. She is also a member of the “Tapestry: A Day for You” Steering Committee, the Northeast Indiana Regional Partnership’s Regional Opportunities Council, 100+ Women Who Care, Vision 2030 Early Learning Committee, and the Parkview Field Advisory Board.


Dena also serves as a community volunteer with Audio Reading Service, part of the Allen County Public Library, which allows the visually impaired to hear the written word and as a Freshman Mentor for Smith Green Community Schools.

Jake Flaitz is the Director of Benefits & Well-being at Paychex, Inc. (NASDAQ) the leading provider of payroll, human resource, and benefits outsourcing services for small-to medium-sized businesses. Paychex has 15,000 employees that work in over 100 locations in 40 states. Jake has been in his position since January 2006 and is responsible for the strategic direction and management of all corporate benefits including health and group, retirement, wellness, food services, and employee well-being programs. During his tenure, Paychex has been nationally recognized for its innovative approach in integrating the company’s employee benefits and well-being programs.


Jake is active in well-being issues, nationally and locally. He is a member of the Business Group on Health’s Health Innovations Forum. He has been both a board member and chairperson for two Rochester-based health care organizations, the Community Technology Assessment Advisory Board, and Common Ground Health (formerly the Finger Lakes Health System Agency). He co-chairs Common Ground’s Metric Advisory Committee and is a member of the Monroe County Medical Society’s Quality Collaborative. Jake is also on the board and chair-elect of the Rochester RHIO, a health information exchange (HIE), and HealthVantics the RHIO's technical services provider.
